Can I continue to have sex, if I have tested positive for an infection?
It is important that you do not have any further sexual contact with your partner, until you receive treatment for your infection. We advise you to contact any previous sexual partners, who may also be at risk from the infection. Partners can order a free and confidential STI screening kit online - which tests for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis and HIV, which can be sent to a preferred address (within Derbyshire). The test kit will arrive in a plain envelope and the results are texted to their phone.
You will find further information about STIs, infections and partner notification here.
