Please note changes to sexual health clinic opening times over the festive period.

Wednesday 24 December (Christmas Eve)
Some clinics will close early at 4pm.
Peartree Clinic (Derby) and Swadlincote Health Centre will be closed all day.

Thursday 25 December (Christmas Day)
All clinics closed.

Friday 26 December (Boxing Day)
All clinics closed.

Wednesday 31 December (New Year’s Eve)
Some clinics will close early at 4pm.

Thursday 1 January (New Year’s Day)
All clinics closed.

Travel Advice

There are a number of roadworks and travel disruptions taking place across Derbyshire that may affect journeys to our clinics. Please allow extra time to travel and aim to arrive a few minutes early for your appointment.

If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to see you as other appointments will already be booked.

We offer free and completely confidential sexual health services to anyone living in Derby or Derbyshire. You can find us in Swadlincote, where our specialist team can help you with:

  • routine testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV 
  • free condoms
  • sexual health advice and support 
  • contraception, including the contraceptive implant, injection, patch and pills
  • pregnancy testing and support 
  • emergency contraception
  • LGBT+ health support

We are open: 

Wednesdays 11am to 7pm, except bank holidays.
