European Testing Week (ETW) is an important annual initiative that promotes the benefits of HIV and STI screening. From 17th to 24th November, our Sexual Health Promotion (SHP) team will be out and about across the Derbyshire encouraging everyone to get tested and take control of their health.
You can find us at local markets and community hubs, offering STI and HIV testing, free condoms, and advice on contraception and sexual wellbeing.
Come and see us in:
-
Bakewell Market – Monday 17 November, 9am–2pm
-
The Hub @ Derbion – Wednesday 19 November, 2pm–6pm
-
Ripley Market – Friday 21 November, 9.30am–11.30am
-
Heanor Market – Friday 21 November, 12pm–2pm
Can’t make it in person? You can still take part. There are lots of ways to get tested quickly, easily and confidentially - including ordering a free postal test kit online.
European Testing Week is all about raising awareness of HIV and STI testing - helping everyone know their status and access the right care and support. Let’s continue to spread the word, raise awareness, and encourage early detection - the key to better treatment and healthier futures.
